What this website does with information — which is less than most privacy policies describe, because this site collects very little.

Effective

The short version

This is a marketing website. It exists so that you can read about BuilderOne and get in touch if you want to. It is worth stating plainly what that does and does not involve.

On this website:

  • There are no advertising or session-recording scripts, and no third-party analytics. Nothing you do here is reported to Google, Meta or anyone else.
  • We do count visits, and we count them ourselves. It is a page counter, not a profile: no cookie, no advertising identifier, and nothing that can follow you between websites or link today’s visit to yesterday’s.
  • No cookies are set.
  • What you type into the Book a guided demo form is sent to BuilderOne when you press “Book my guided demo” — and to nobody else. If it cannot get through, the page offers to send the same details from your own email program or WhatsApp instead.
  • Nothing is stored in your browser — except, if the "PBooksPro is now BuilderOne" banner is shown and you close it, a note that you did, so it stays closed.

The rest of this page explains each of those in more detail, and what happens once you do choose to contact us.

Who this policy is from

This policy covers www.pbookspro.com — the public BuilderOne website, and only that. BuilderOne is the current name of the product previously sold as PBooksPro; it is the same product and the same team.

We operate from Off-101, Plot 14, City Center, Block C1, B-17, Islamabad, Pakistan.

The BuilderOne application itself is a separate, password-protected system used by customers under their own agreement with us. This policy does not describe what happens inside a customer’s BuilderOne tenant, where the customer decides what data is held and we act on their instructions.

Information you choose to give us

There is exactly one place on this website where you can enter information about yourself: the Book a guided demo page. It asks for:

  • your name, your company and a work email address, which are required so we can reply;
  • what kind of business you run — developing and selling, renting or managing, construction, or something else — also required, so the demo shows the right workflow;
  • optionally, a phone or WhatsApp number, roughly how big the business is, and anything else you want us to know.

You can also contact us directly by email, phone or WhatsApp using the details on the Contact page. In that case we receive whatever you decide to put in your message.

How the Book a guided demo form works

When you press “Book my guided demo”, the page sends what you typed to BuilderOne’s own servers, at this website’s own address. It goes straight to us — no form service, no CRM vendor and no other third party is involved — and becomes an enquiry in our own sales records, which we keep in BuilderOne itself — the same software this website describes — so our sales team can follow it up.

What follows from that:

  • If you fill in the form and close the tab without pressing the button, nothing is sent. There is nothing to delete, because nothing was sent.
  • Alongside your answers the page sends two technical values our server uses to turn away automated spam: how long the form was open, and an empty field that only a bot would fill in. Neither identifies you.
  • With your answers the page also sends where this visit to the website began, so we know which pages and campaigns lead to conversations: the first page you opened, the page you sent the form from and, if a link brought you here, the address of the website that linked to us (the site only, never the page) and any campaign labels in that link — the “utm_” tags marketers add to links. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, only the two page addresses are sent.
  • If you have already written to us from the same email address or phone number and that conversation is still open, your new request is added to it rather than starting a separate one, so whoever is already helping you sees it.
  • If the request cannot get through, the page says so and offers to put the same details into your own email program or WhatsApp. If you choose email, your own email provider sends the message to support@pbookspro.com, exactly as if you had written to us yourself, under its own terms.
  • If you choose WhatsApp, the message opens in WhatsApp with the text already filled in, and it is sent through WhatsApp’s service, which is operated by Meta under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not control WhatsApp and cannot speak for how it handles your data.

Information collected automatically

This website is a set of static files served by our hosting provider. Like any web server, that infrastructure processes the technical information a browser sends in order to deliver a page and to keep the service secure and available. That typically includes an IP address, the browser’s user-agent string, the address requested and the time of the request.

This information is handled by our hosting and infrastructure providers as part of running the service, and is used for delivery, security and troubleshooting. We do not build profiles from it, we do not combine it with anything else, and we do not use it to identify individual visitors.

We have not set a retention period of our own for these infrastructure logs, and we would rather say so than quote a number we do not control. If you need to know how long they persist, ask us and we will find out for your specific question.

Separately from those logs, this website keeps its own count of visits. It is first-party: the page sends a short message to BuilderOne’s own servers saying which page was viewed, where the visit came from — a search engine, a link, a campaign — and whether a demo request was sent from the page. Nothing is sent to a third party, and there is no advertising or measurement network involved at any point.

It counts visits without identifying you, and the way that works is worth stating precisely. The count is grouped by a short code our server calculates from your IP address and browser, mixed with a secret that CHANGES EVERY DAY. Your IP address is never stored and never written to a log — it exists only for the instant that code is calculated. Because the secret changes daily, yesterday’s code cannot be matched to today’s: we can tell how many people visited on a given day, and we genuinely cannot tell whether any of them had been here before. That is also why this policy does not claim to measure "returning visitors" — it is not something we are able to measure.

There is no cookie, no browser storage and no device fingerprint behind this. Nothing is written to your browser, so there is nothing to clear and nothing that survives the page closing. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, the page sends nothing at all — that is checked before the message is even assembled.

What we use it for is deciding what to write and where to spend: which pages are worth keeping, which are not read, and whether a campaign brought anyone. The detailed records are deleted after thirteen months; the daily totals are kept as counts, which hold nothing about any individual.

Cookies and browser storage

This website sets no cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for preferences. That is also why you are not being asked to accept any — a consent banner for cookies that do not exist would be theatre.

Nothing is stored in your browser either, with one possible exception, and it is not a cookie: when the "PBooksPro is now BuilderOne" banner is shown at the top of the page and you close it, the site records that single fact in your browser’s local storage so the banner does not come back on your next visit. It holds no personal information, it is never sent anywhere, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Nothing else is stored. No session storage, no database in your browser, no service worker, no device fingerprinting.

What we do with what you send us

When you contact us, we use what you have sent to:

  • reply to you, and answer what you asked;
  • arrange a demonstration or a conversation about access, if that is what you wanted;
  • prepare a quote or proposal when you ask for one;
  • keep a record of our correspondence with you, as any business does;
  • meet a legal or regulatory obligation, if one applies.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you asked a question — if we ever start sending something you can subscribe to, it will be because you asked for it.

Who else is involved

We would rather describe this accurately than claim we never share anything, which is never true of any business that uses a computer.

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers serve this website and handle the technical request information described above.
  • Our email provider carries messages you send us and our replies to you.
  • WhatsApp, operated by Meta, carries the conversation if you choose that channel. Its handling of your data is governed by its own terms and privacy policy, not ours.
  • Professional advisers or authorities, where we are legally required to disclose something, or where we need advice to establish or defend a legal claim.

That is the whole list as it stands today. If it changes in a way that matters, this page changes with it.

How long we keep things

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it is useful for the purpose you sent it — while we are talking, and afterwards for as long as a record of the conversation is reasonably needed, for example if you become a customer, or if there is a legal or accounting reason to retain it.

We have deliberately not published a fixed number of months here. A specific retention period that nobody applies in practice is worse than an honest description of the principle. If you would like your correspondence deleted, ask us and we will do it unless we are required to keep it.

Security

This website is served only over HTTPS, and it is a set of static files with no database, no login and no administrative interface attached to it — which removes most of the ways a marketing site is usually attacked.

For the correspondence you send us, we take measures we consider reasonable to protect it. We are not going to tell you that it is absolutely secure, because no one can honestly say that about any system, and a policy that promises it is telling you something untrue on its most important page.

Your choices, and your rights

Whatever law applies to you, these are always available:

  • Do not send it. Nothing about YOU is collected until you choose to send a message — the visit counter described above holds no name, address or anything else that could be traced back to a person.
  • Turn the counter off. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, this site sends nothing at all, and most browsers and privacy extensions can set one.
  • Ask us what we hold about you, and we will tell you.
  • Ask us to correct something that is wrong.
  • Ask us to delete your correspondence, and we will unless we are required to keep it.
  • Tell us to stop contacting you, and we will stop.

Beyond that, the rights you have depend on the law that applies to you, and we would rather point you at that than recite a list of statutory rights that may not be yours. At the time of writing Pakistan has no comprehensive data protection statute in force; a Personal Data Protection Bill has been drafted but has not been enacted, and we will not describe a bill as though it were law. What does apply includes the constitutional protection of privacy and the electronic-transactions and electronic-crimes legislation in force.

If you are visiting from outside Pakistan

We are based in Pakistan and this website is aimed at businesses operating there. It is not directed at people in the European Union, the United Kingdom or California, and it does not track or monitor anyone’s behaviour anywhere — so we do not think those regimes apply to this website, and we are not going to claim compliance with a framework simply because it is well known.

That said, if you are somewhere those rules do apply to you and you believe you have a right in respect of something we hold, write to us and we will deal with it properly rather than argue about jurisdiction. If you write to us from anywhere, your message reaches us in Pakistan.

Children

BuilderOne is business software and this website is aimed at people acting for a business. It is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information about them. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change what this website does, we will change this page, and the effective date at the top will tell you when the current version took effect. There is no mailing list to notify, because we do not keep one for this purpose.

Contact us about privacy

If you have a question about this policy, or a request about information we hold, we would like to hear about it directly. Write to support@pbookspro.com, or message +92 317 5505575 on WhatsApp.
