Pricing and licensing

You pay for the modules you switch on, and the people who use them

BuilderOne is quoted per company rather than sold from a price list. A property developer running construction, selling and investor capital needs a different system from a managing agent running rental and owner settlements — and should not pay the same for it.

How it is licensed

Three parts, and only one of them is optional

The core — always included

The platform core and Accounting are permanent. They are never switched off, never expire and are not something a company can be sold out of: they are what every other module posts into. Users, roles, permissions, approvals, contacts, notifications, the chart of accounts, fiscal years, periods, bank reconciliation, financial statements and the Report Centre all live here.

The modules — what your business actually does

Nine operational modules are licensed per company. Switch on the ones that match how you work; the rest are simply not there, rather than present and empty. A company can add a module later without a migration — the data model already expects it.

The people — seats

Named users, each with a role that decides what they can open and what they can approve. A site engineer entering site expenses and a finance manager closing the period are different roles on the same system.

The licensable modules

Nine to choose from

Accounting and the platform core are not on this list because they are always included.

Project Selling

Sell units on installment plans, from hold to handover.

Sell

CRM

The pipeline in front of the sale, the tender or the lease.

Rental

Tenancies, rent and owner money for a managed portfolio.

Operate

Fixed Assets

A register that depreciates and posts.

Build

From tender to final account, for developers and contractors.

Build

Procurement

A purchase that is requested, quoted, ordered, received and matched.

Build

Project Management

For projects you manage on an owner’s behalf.

Finance & people

HR & Payroll

People, time and pay — ending in the ledger.

Finance & people

Investor Management

The partners funding a project, in the same system.

Straight answer

Why there is no price on this page

Because we would have to make one up. BuilderOne is entering public use now, and we would rather tell you exactly how the licensing works and then quote you honestly than publish a table we would have to change in a month.

Tell us how many projects, buildings or units you run, which parts of the lifecycle you handle in-house and roughly how many people would use the system. That is enough for a real number.

  • No self-service signup. We provision your company, switch on your modules and send your administrator an activation link.
  • No per-transaction charge. Posting a bill or issuing an invoice does not cost extra.
  • Your data is yours. Every report exports to Excel and PDF or prints, and some registers also export CSV.

A walkthrough of about half an hour with the team that builds it — on your kind of projects, units and billing, not a canned slideshow.

  1. Tell us what you run. Four fields — it takes under a minute.
  2. We get back to you to arrange a time that suits you.
  3. We walk through your workflow — sale, rent, site or books — in the real product.
