Every purchase requested, quoted, ordered, received and billed — on the project
A purchase moves from the request that starts it to the vendor bill that ends it, with quotes compared, an approved order and a receipt in between.

Capabilities
What Procurement covers
Purchase requests
Demand raised by a site or department, with the project it belongs to, approved before it becomes a commitment.
RFQs and quotation comparison
Requests for quotation to several suppliers, with responses compared side by side and one awarded.
Purchase orders
Raised from the awarded quotation, so every order has a recorded price basis.
Approval bands
Approval by amount, on top of the routes you configure, so bigger orders go higher.
Receipts and returns
Goods and service receipts against the order, and returns to the supplier.
Vendor bills and debit notes
Each bill line is raised from an approved receipt line and never for more than was received. It starts at the order’s price; a supplier price outside your tolerance must be accepted by an approver. Debit notes for corrections.
Suppliers and price history
One counterparty directory, so a supplier who is also a contractor is registered once; price history per item.
Insights
Spend, supplier performance and documents in flight, from the same records.
In the books
What Procurement posts to Accounting
A matched vendor bill becomes a payable on the project that bought the goods; payment settles it.
- Vendor bills → cost on the project, payable to the supplier
- Debit notes → reduce what is owed
- Payments → cash or bank, settling the payable

Straight answers
Questions buyers ask us
Specific to Procurement.
Can we raise a purchase order without quotations?
Purchase orders are created from an awarded quotation, so every order has a recorded price basis. Site expenses in Construction cover small direct purchases.
Does it match the order, the receipt and the bill?
Yes — by what each document is allowed to reference. A bill can only be raised from an approved receipt and each bill line names a receipt line, so nothing is billed beyond what was received; a receipt cannot record more than was ordered; and each line starts at the order’s price, with the supplier’s invoiced price checked against it — a difference outside your tolerance waits for an approver to accept it with a reason.
Do purchase approvals depend on the amount?
Yes, when approval routing is on: configurable amount bands sit on top of the approval routes you set.
